The Ritavi police arrested a 58-year-old traditional healer for raping a 16-year-old girl on 28 December 2008 at about 18:45. It is alleged that the victim was taken to a traditional healer for treatment by her mother and she left her with the healer. When relatives came to visit her, they found that the traditional healer was living whith her as his wife. The matter was reported to the police and the suspect arrested. He will appear before court soon.
